Dr. William A. Portuese is certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Academy of Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery. He is the current president of the Washington State Chapter of Facial Plastic Surgeons and also the Medical Director of the Seattle Facial Plastic Surgery Center. Dr. Portuese is also a clinical instructor in the Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Washington and the author of numerous publications in his field. He regularly gives presentations about facial plastic surgery on local, national and international levels. Dr. Portuese specializes in plastic, cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face and neck. This includes all aspects of facial plastic surgery, including facelifts, blepharoplasty (eyelids), facial implants, Botox®, rhinoplasty (nose) and neck lift/liposuction. Dr. Portuese's experience in facial plastic surgery is extensive. He completed his surgical internship and residency at Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. After his residency, Dr. Portuese completed a one-year fellowship in Beverly Hills with internationally renowned facial plastic surgeon Dr. Frank Kamer. Dr. Portuese is a Seattle resident. The natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest is a perfect fit for him. He has a deep appreciation for the balance and harmony of nature and devotes much of his personal time to his family. When time allows, he enjoys fishing, water skiing, hiking and skiing the numerous nearby slopes. |
