Wireless Internet

Wireless Internet (WiFi) connectivity is provided, free of charge, in several areas of the Club:

  • The Top of the WAC
  • The 101 Club
  • 8th Floor Sports Café
  • 1st Floor Lobby & Chihuly Alcove

To Connect

  1. Double-click on the Networking icon, located in the right side of the Task Bar.
  2. Select the "WACWIFI" network.
  3. If you are asked if you wish to connect to WACWIFI even though it is not secure, select "Yes."*
  4. Click "Connect" if prompted.

You should now be connected to the internet via our wireless network.

Troubleshooting

If you are unable to get online, please try the following:

  • Check your signal strength—
Do this by double-clicking the Networking icon on the right side of the Task Bar. This should open the "Wireless Network Connection Status" window, which will show you your current connection speed and signal strength. You should be able to access the network with a signal as low as one or two bars. If your signal is low, try moving the computer to a different area of the floor.
  • Check your IP address—

Open the "Wireless Network Connection Status" window as described above. There are two tabs across the top, one of which is the "Support" tab. Clicking this tab should give you more information about your connection. The first line should read "Address Type: Assigned by DHCP." The next line should read "IP Address:192.168.2.x" (x = any number from 50-254).

If you have good signal strength and a valid IP address, and are still unable to access the Internet, please call the Front Desk at 206.622.7900.
