The Golf Club at Port Ludlow

751 Highland Drive
Port Ludlow, WA 98365
360.437.0272
www.portludlowbayresort.com

The Golf Club at Port Ludlow was designed by Robert Muir Graves to provide a challenging, yet rewarding golf experience while preserving the spectacular natural surroundings where deer roam, eagles fly, cedar stumps emerge from water hazards and wildflowers explode in a riot of colors.

You'll wind through lush greens and fairways that overlook several lakes and streams. You'll stroll through towering evergreens that open up to stunning views of Hood Canal, Ludlow Bay and the Olympic and Cascade mountains. Golf Digest and GolfWeek ranked the Port Ludlow Golf Course as "one of the best places to play." Esquire Magazine called it "the most scenic in the world."

The Golf Course at The Resort At Port Ludlow is recognized as one of only 10 golf courses in Washington and one of 445 golf courses in the world to be a "Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary" for the past 10 years. To reach certification, a golf course must maintain a high degree of environmental quality in a number of critical areas.

Services include golf carts, pull carts, daily lockers, a practice range with four practice areas, rental clubs and food and beverage specials. Golf packages are also available at The Inn at Port Ludlow (360.437.7000).

White Horse Golf Club

9260 NE White Horse Drive
Kingston, WA 98346
206.842.9000 | 360.297.5277
www.whitehorsegolf.com

Despite wide, yawning fairways that encourage maximum use of the driver, preliminary ratings by the PNGA put it in a class with the state's five toughest tracks. The 18th hole, which skirts a lake, might be the best finishing hole in the state. White Horse is fun for playing bombs away with the driver, but hang on with the shot to the green as you try to avoid one of the course's 120 bunkers. Still, with five distinct sets of tees measuring from 5,000 to 7,000 yards, it is attackable by everyone, especially with fairways that deliver roll no matter what time of year—all of which makes it a course you've just got to try.

WAC members: 10 percent off greens fees. WAC membership card with photo ID required at check-in. WAC charging privileges are not extended at this time.

Directions: You can park in Edmonds and walk on the Edmonds-Kingston ferry. Let us know in advance, and we will pick you up at the Kingston ferry dock. If you drive on the Edmonds ferry, get in the left lane as you drive off the ferry. Turn left in two blocks at Iowa Street. Go three-tenths of a mile to the stop sign at South Kingston Road NE. Turn left and go 2.7 miles to White Horse entrance. Visit the Web site for maps and directions.
