In the heart of downtown St. Louis stands the Missouri Athletic Club, a club that has kept its tradition of excellence for more than 100 years. This city landmark originally featured a pool, gymnasium, billiard room, bowling alley and "sleeping rooms," but after a tragic fire in 1914, renovations revived the clubhouse to its present form.

The MAC consistently plans for the future while building upon past traditions. In 1995, the Club purchased the former Town & Country Racquet Club to bring members outdoor tennis and swimming privileges. Following that, a $7 million expansion/renovation project updated the MAC-West facility in 2003.

Members have championed the MAC's success over its long history. They are passionate about their club's reputation as the preferred place for athletics, dining and social functions for metropolitan St. Louis' professional, business and civic leaders. With access to three premier golf courses, "clubs within the club" and programs and leagues that suit every member of the family, the Missouri Athletic Club not only sets but also leads the standard for private clubs in St. Louis.
