Hair Stylist - Spa at the WACThe Spa at the WAC is looking for an experienced hair designer to provide excellent customer service to our members on a part-time basis. Must be able to do color, highlights, cuts and updos. Must have at least five years of professional, recent salon experience. Current Washington cosmetologist license and completion of a high school education, or equivalent is required. We are looking for someone who is current on the latest trends in the industry, outgoing, strong retail sales background, and is a team player. The Spa currently carries Brocato and Davines products, familiarity with these lines a plus. Banquet Manager - WAC BanquetsThe WAC is looking for an energetic individual to ensure smooth operations of the banquet department. This person is responsible for training and supervision of the wait staff, set-up, ordering bars, food services, room breakdown, budgets, and menus. The banquet manager coordinates daily operations with the kitchen and catering teams, creates room plans and service assignments, and arranges for special food and equipment requests. The person holding this position must have five to seven years of successful catering and beverage supervisory or management experience and completion of an associate or bachelors degree in a management related field or equivalent. Must have flexibility in scheduling and may be required to work holidays, evenings and weekends. Serving Assistant - Torchy'sJoin the Restaurant Team at the Washington Athletic Club. Responsibilities include setting/clearing the dining tables, maintaining a clean work area, delivering/refilling beverages and working efficiently with the serving staff. Baker - WAC Bake ShopThe Bake Shop at the WAC is looking for an experienced baker to support its daily operations. Duties include preparing pastries, developing menu bakery items, maintaining the walk-in areas and the bake shop, and submitting grocery/supply orders. You must be at least 18 years of age and have a current food handler's permit. Banquet Supervisor - WAC Banquet KitchenThe Banquet Kitchen is looking for a temporary supervisor to assist with daily operations. We are looking for an individual with two years experience in a supervisor culinary position or equivalent. Culinary grad and experience in high-volume environment preferred. The Inn at the WAC has an opportunity for a night manager with preferred luxury hotel experience to provide excellent customer service to members and guests. This person holding this position must have the ability to triage and prioritize a variety of presented tasks while delivering a high level of guest service. They are the main point of contact for the operation of the WAC clubhouse after business hours, ensuring a continuous physical presence is maintained at the front desk to provide excellent service to guests. The night manager is responsible for assisting in the training of new personnel on standard operating procedures and assessing job productivity. Bell Attendant - Inn at the WACThe Bell Desk is looking for a hospitality professional to support the Inn. This position requires the ability to lift up to fifty pounds and stand up to 8 hours per day. This person is responsible for greeting members and guests checking into the Inn and assisting them with their luggage. This position is temporary.
