F/T Copy Editor—Marketing

Are you an experienced copy editor with a passion for excellence? The marketing team at the WAC is looking for someone to serve three main functions: dispatch for content based on magazine editorial and marketing initiative needs, copy editor and writer. This person will work closely with the VP of Marketing & Membership, Art Director, Graphic Designer and Creative Manager in creating a wide variety of publications and marketing media for a premier city athletic club. This person must have experience in developing magazine ladders, editing and proofing and will be responsible for sharing duties as in-house photographer. Three years of copy editor experience, a B.A. in English, journalism or communications and outstanding skills in print production management and writing are required. F/T Event Coordinator—Club Programs

Club Programs has an opening for a creative individual with a passion for event planning. Candidates must be positive, resourceful and able to solve problems. Minimum requirements include two years of event-planning or related experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Outlook, Excel and the ability to learn WAC membership, project management, budget and expense-tracking skills. Must have four-year degree or equivalent, proficient writing skills and effective English communication skills.  

F/T & P/T Desk Attendant—Men’s Conditioning 

Join the team at the Washington Athletic Club and support our men's athletic areas. We are looking for customer-service-oriented individuals who can support a busy athletic area. O/C Massage Therapist—Women's Conditioning

The women's athletic area and the Spa are seeking an experienced licensed massage therapist proficient in a variety of massage techniques. Individuals must be fluent in English, dependable, flexible, positive, outgoing and wellness-oriented with strong interpersonal, communication and customer-service skills to support our diverse and valued members and their guests. CPR and First Aid training required after three months. This position is gender specific.                     

F/T Server—Room Service

Room Service provides excellent customer service to hotel guests. Responsibilities include  submitting food orders to the kitchen and processing checks through the POS System. Must be able to communicate effectively in English, work efficiently with the dining room service staff and stand/walk for a minimum of eight hours. Must be at least 21 with a current Washington state food handler's permit and Class 12 alcohol service certification permit.

F/T Server—Torchy's

Provide excellent customer service in the WAC restaurants as a full-time server. Responsibilities include greeting and tending to members and their guests, submitting food orders to the kitchen and processing checks through the POS System. Must be able to communicate effectively in English, work efficiently with the dining room service staff and stand/walk for a minimum of eight hours. Must be at least 21 years of age with a current Washington state food handler's permit and Class 12 alcohol service certification permit.  

F/T Serving Assistant—Torchy's

Join the Restaurant Team at the Washington Athletic Club. Responsibilities include setting/clearing the dining tables, maintaining a clean work area, delivering/refilling beverages and working efficiently with the serving staff. This position requires punctuality, ability to follow directions, interact well with team members and members/guests, and the ability to communicate effectively in English. Must have a current Washington state food handler's permit and be 18 years of age.   

F/T Assistant Manager—Sports Cafe

The WAC is looking for someone to support daily operations within the Sports Cafe. This person oversees the operations of the cafe in the absence of the manager, providing members and guests with outstanding customer service. This person must have successful customer service and deli prep experience, current food and liquor permits and be at least 21 years of age.

F/T Pantry Cook—WAC Kitchen

Be part of a winning team in a private club atmosphere in downtown Seattle, with four eating venues and 16 banquet rooms. The WAC Kitchen has an opening for a full-time cook with one year of full-service line-cooking experience or equivalent. Culinary training and volume experience preferred. Must have current Washington state food handler's permit and union membership within 30 days.

F/T Assistant Executive Housekeeper—Inn at the WAC

The Inn at the WAC is looking for a team-oriented professional to support the hotel as an Assistant Executive Housekeeper. This position requires two years of supervisory experience in housekeeping, plus a high school diploma or equivalent and AHLA certification or corporate training program.

F/T Front Desk Associate—Inn at the WAC

Support the front-desk team at the Inn at the WAC. Responsibilities include checking in/out WAC hotel guests, taking hotel reservations and providing general customer service. Excellent customer-service, interpersonal, communication and basic computer skills, plus fluency in English required. Previous hospitality experience a plus.
