There’s a lot to consider in putting a top team of coaches together. You bet we have four-year degrees in exercise science or related fields. We’re also certified from the training gold standards (American College of Sports Medicine, National Strength and Conditioning Association, National Academy of Sports Medicine). But other skills are just as important: passion, commitment, energy and a great attitude. We think these fundamentals will be your fulcrum for a life-changing experience.

Our Personal Trainers are selected not only because they have impressive credentials, they must also have the ability to connect with you and make a difference in your life. Through individualized workouts, tough love and close attention to your biomechanics, they help you reach your potential. All Personal Trainers are available by appointment.

A former collegiate football player, Tobin Beck promotes longevity through an active lifestyle based on fitness programming. Clients succeed with Tobin’s laser-focus on the development of motor coordination and joint mobility and emphasis on methodical progression, spatial awareness, and body positioning. Tobin enjoys working with clients of all ages and sets obtainable goals with accountability.
Specialties: Functional training, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, speed/performance training, kettlebell training, Olympic lifting, powerlifting, and yoga.

Over her extensive career, Mona has achieved great success working with a diverse clientele that includes adults with chronic disease, teens, advanced athletes and a wide variety of clinical populations in both health club and clinical settings. Community outreach, health and fitness screenings, lectures, and seminars have been vehicles that Mona has used to fulfill her passion for bringing a greater awareness of how exercise, good nutrition and a positive mindset can transform the lives of every person who will love themselves enough to pursue it.

Roy Coleman Jr., BS

As a former basketball, track and collegiate football player, Roy knows what it takes to get to the next level. Having worked as a trainer for the mature adult’s program at Western Washington University, he stresses the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle for people of all fitness levels. Roy uses a wide variety of training techniques including plyometrics, Kettlebells, and medicine balls and fun sport-specific training to drive his clients towards their goals and, most importantly, keep them striving towards new goals.

Jaime has more than eight years of personal training experience with students of varying experience and fitness levels. Certified as a personal trainer and TRX instructor, Jaime’s training philosophy is single-minded—to help her clients exceed their fitness goals. Jaime has played many sports and raced competitively, allowing her to tailor fit a program to anyone.

Kamila Fontanilla, BS, ACSM

Over the years, Kamila has gained knowledge and experience working with people from all walks of life, whether for weight loss, injury rehabilitation, athletic enhancement, or muscle strengthening and building. She favors high intensity with minimal rest, full body workouts mixed with a ton of variety to keep clients guessing. Kamila’s favorite client is anyone willing to give 100% and isn’t afraid to sweat a little.

Will has worked with housewives, young athletes, professional athletes, postrehab clients, business owners, the chronically injured, people with diabetes, and models. This wide array of clientele has broadened his knowledge of both the physiological and psychological needs of his clients. Will believes that “coaching is not just for the athlete, but is a sociological need for change for everyone and that in order to create good habits, one must stop old habits, reinventing themselves with a new paradigm in which to operate.”

Kinya Jones, BS, ACSM

Kinya Jones has been waking up early to exercise since she was 12. A natural coach and mentor, Kinya is known for her creativity and motivational attitude. Kinya prioritizes form in her exercises, and she specializes in designing progressive programs to improve movement and strength for her clients. Kinya believes that our relationship with our bodies and our physical environment directly informs our health and wellness.

Darrick Kung, BS, NSCA, NASM

Darrick’s coaching and motivation have accommodated a diverse group of individuals. Creating safe and functional programs provides the roadmap and foundation for clients with specific needs or training priorities. As well as competitive athletes, his work has included those suffering from diabetes or postpartum depression, postsurgical patients, and individuals with the goal of losing body fat while increasing lean muscle.

Participating in a variety of sports throughout her life, Sara has a diverse background in fitness and training. She began building her athletic background at a young age with competitive swimming, basketball, and track and field. Finding a balance between lifestyle, fitness and nutrition is Sara’s goal for herself and her clients.

A former nationally ranked rugby player as well as a power lifter, STP one-day rider, Ironman 70.3 competitor, and Miss Lake Washington 2014, Charity Santos has a long and diverse history in the fitness industry. Charity is known for her cheerful demeanor and imaginative program design. During her career, Charity has worked with everyone from 70-year-olds with joint issues to nationally ranked teen athletes. Charity believes that a happy life starts with a healthy body.
Specialties: Active older adults, Pilates mat, functional training, kettlebell training, mobility, powerlifting, weight loss, and corrective exercise.

Scott brings several years of experience in the most current training techniques. He specializes in innovative conditioning strategies and customized motivational techniques for all ages and fitness levels.

Through his own life experiences, Will has faced many personal challenges such as being overweight. By working with a trainer and setting goals Will was able to change his life and realized that being a personal trainer was a great way to help people change their own lives and make a difference. Will believes that everyone is an athlete and sometimes all you need is a little direction in order to change your life.

Eric Williamson is a former national level swimmer, accomplished triathlete, and U.S. Masters swim coach here at the WAC. He has worked with everyone from college and Olympic-level athletes to adults recovering from traumatic injury and elderly individuals who have never been in a gym. He has also worked with the Seattle Sounders’ youth academy to develop fun and effective workouts for younger athletes. Eric loves the challenge of helping someone achieve their goals, and he is a firm believer that fitness is a habit that should be built at an early age.
