Discovery Park Planting with The WAC Way – Full

Saturday, April 23 @ 9:30 am - 12:00 pm

Complimentary
Pop Up Kickball Night in the Park

Time to bring our urban forest to life for years to come.

A WAC give back event

The WAC Way is joining forces with Green Seattle Partnerships for a perfect spring service project. Let’s plant native trees, shurbs and groundcover in the Capehart forest of Discovery Park. We will also be pulling some blackberry vines and weeding so bringing some thick gardening gloves is a must.

The Green Seattle Partnership is a collaboration between the City of Seattle, Forterra, community groups and non-profits, businesses, schools, and thousands of volunteers working together to restore and actively maintain the City’s forested parklands.
