Strength Training Basics for Women

For many women, it can be hard to know where to start when it comes to strength training. Questions like: Should one train using light weights, heavy weights, or no weight? How many reps are best? What if I bulk up?

This class, designed for women, addresses fundamental strength-training concepts in a fun and easy-to-follow format. Finally, navigating the weight room is doable!  Finally, you can craft a routine that is targeted toward helping you achieve your personal goals!

Our time will be well-spent using classic weight room exercises beginning with a focus on proper alignment and range-of-motion. We then discuss proper exercise ordering, weight selection, and progression to really maximize your workout results.

For a novice exerciser, this class is a must! For those that have a strong start, plan on building your knowledge to make your workouts more efficient and effective!

Workout attire encouraged.
