Eric Chen, WAC Nutritionist
Eric Chen, BS Clinical Nutrition, DTR, has an extensive background in designing programs for weight loss, weight gain, athletic performance, and optimizing health. Having completed his degree in Clinical Nutrition at the University of California, Davis, he recognizes that nutrition plays a major role in disease prevention and staying healthy. He continues to empower his clients to make educated decisions and get healthy. At the WAC, Eric counsels members on dietary change and tracks progress with body composition analysis. Taking a whole body approach to health & fitness, Eric believes that what you put into your body is just as important as how you move.
Along with running, Eric enjoys other sports such as dragon boat racing, olympic lifting, and triathlons. In addition to his clinical nutrition degree, Eric is a certified personal trainer and Olympic lifting coach.
Eric writes a popular twice-monthly nutrition blog.
He also helps lead our Wellness 360 program, which focuses on nutrition, fitness, recovery and lifestyle.
