Nutrition: Super Bowl Sunday

Game Day Snacks

With the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs facing off at this weekend’s Super Bowl LIV, it’s time to start planning your afternoon eats! Many of us are looking forward to football, friends, fun, and of course—food! The Super Bowl is one of the country’s biggest eating holidays with many Americans consuming upwards of 10,000 calories during the day. That’s more than four and half times the recommended daily calorie intake! Don’t let this weekend’s festivities derail your healthy 2020 goals. Try a healthy new snack or drink recipe suggested by WAC Dietitian Alysse Anderegg and keep those calories in check.
