The Columbia Club delivers city access and high-end amenities

Don’t let travel plans throw off your New Year’s fitness resolution. If a trip to Indianapolis is in your future, a visit to The Columbia Club will help keep your healthy lifestyle goals on track. Located on Monument Circle in the heart of the city, this WAC reciprocal club features 2,400 square feet of fitness facilities that shine—literally and figuratively—with new state-of-the-art fitness and strength equipment.

Forget your Fitbit at home? Track your workouts by quickly downloading the Life Fitness app, which syncs directly to each piece of equipment to deliver a comprehensive summary of your activity. A busy schedule is no match for your fitness goals as the club’s health and wellness center is open 24/7.

The Columbia Club began in 1889. The current clubhouse is 90 years old and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

During your visit, swing by the newly renovated Columbian Café for a fresh protein smoothie or nutritious snack. If you find yourself with sore muscles, the club’s sauna, whirlpool, and hot tubs can restore them before you sprint to your next destination. And the club’s four-star hotel accommodations will make you feel right at home, whether you’re in town for the 102nd Indy 500 this May or simply staying a few nights on business.

To visit a club, members must request a letter of introduction. Log on to wac.net/loi. Submit club reviews at wac.net/reciprocal-reviews.
