Pinot Bianco, 2018

The WAC is proud to present
our Tour of Italy Dinner on Friday, January 28, as a follow-up to last year’s popular Italian wine dinner. Among the wines to be featured, Kettmeir’s Pinot Bianco offers beautiful floral and green apple notes with a delicate minerality. This wine is unoaked with crisp acidity and a long juicy finish.

Founded by Giuseppe Kettmeir on the heels of World War I, Kettmeir produces its vintages in the Alto Adige, the country’s northern-most winemaking region, located at the foothills of the Dolomites and Rhaetian Alps.

The varied glacial soils of the area, combined with the crisp alpine climate and long summer days, provide the ideal environment for Pinot Bianco, the Italian name for what the French call Pinot Blanc. The wine pairs well with chicken, white fish, and other light foods.
