WAC Junior of the Month: Mika Baruffi

WAC Junior of the Month: Mika Baruffi

September 2017

Six-year-old Mika Baruffi ski races for Team Alpental-Snoqualmie. Inspired by her family’s love of ski racing, Mika spends her winters on the slopes. She participated in her first race last season and won a trophy. In addition to skiing, Mika plays soccer for her school, dances at Pacific Northwest Ballet, and practices gymnastics at Seattle Gymnastics Academy. Most recently, Mika rode a sheep at the Washington State Fair—an activity referred to as mutton busting. She also learned how to wakeboard this summer and went on her first mountain biking course. When she’s at the WAC, Mika loves to swim in the 6th Floor pool. She also attended WAC Juniors Summer Camp this past summer and looks forward to Club holiday events, including GingerMania and Children’s Holiday Shows, including Le Petit Nutcracker.
