WAC Junior of the Month: Niko Baruffi

WAC Junior of the Month: Niko Baruffi

January 2018

Ten-year-old Niko Baruffi ski races for Team Alpental Snoqualmie, plays soccer, swims, and runs cross-country. Niko first started ski racing with encouragement from his dad and three uncles—all of whom raced for Team Alpental Snoqualmie. Niko’s father also got him started playing soccer and took him mountain biking at age five. Last ski season, Niko earned second place in the giant slalom and fifth place in the slalom. This year, Niko beat his personal record running cross-country. Niko is at the WAC once a week for Saturday swim lessons. He also likes running on the track and attending family activities, especially around the holidays. His favorite event is GingerMania.
