WAC Junior of the Month: Elliott Nord

WAC Junior of the Month: Elliott Nord.

February 2016

Nine-year-old Elliott Nord has been playing ice hockey for four years. A student at Wedgwood Elementary, he currently plays for the Seattle Junior Hockey Association’s Squirt Bulldogs, where he is the team’s leading scorer as defenseman. His skill was recognized this past December when he earned Seattle Junior Hockey’s “Pride, Hustle, Desire Award,” an honor given to the month’s best all-around player. Elliott enjoys the speed of hockey and hopes to play for the Michigan Wolverines someday. Elliott visits the WAC a few times a month and enjoys attending family events, such as the Mother Son and Father Son banquets and GingerMania. He also enjoys swimming and takes lessons in Helene Madison Pool, which helps him with the View Ridge swim team. Swimming, he says, has made him faster not only in the water but also on the ice.
